System Series

System F

The System F combines four basic technologies:

SASB (current-damped woofer and semi-symmetrical band pass)
BACYC (Balanced Cylinders Configuration)
VTA (Variable Time Alignment
TOS (Driver based optimization of total reverberation tmes)

The combination of these technologies results in the wideband signal fidelity and perfect transcient response of the System F. Homogeneity and spatial resolution for the listener to experience.

Space and Listening

From near wall to free field set ups with a high amount of diffuse sound, the wide range of System F covers all situations. Here SASB, BACYC, VTA, TOS, the switchable mid-range-adjustment and the individual listening room work together.

System Z5-F

The System Zf-F combines living room friendly dimensions with deep bass and dynamic ability comparable with much larger systems. Because of their timeless, clear, "Bauhaus" design, the Z5-F combines well with different arrangements of a house.

The complex modular concept of the System Z5-F ensures always the capability of adjusting the tweeter module to the perfect impulse response with the low and midrange driver resulting in a perfect homogeneity at the listening position.

The authentic and natural music reproduction of the System Z5-F is based on a well-balanced tuning resulting in extremely detailed resolution and perfect time behavior.

The System Z5-F produces an extremely transparent and neutral sound at any volume level free from coloration and distortions.

The linearity and tonal balance between soft and very loud music is perfect. For example, deep bass is heard in a detailed way and is reproduced with very high resolution at very low volume. Of course, the system also reproduces at very high power deepest bass level, distortion free.

The System Z is offered is three versions:

SystemZ5-F (including S.E. high frequency decoupling)
System Z5-F+ (including uncoupling system of System Z5-F S.E.)
System Z5-F S.E. (Special Edition)

System M5-F S.E. and System M5-F+

The System M5-F S.E. is built with the best individual components. These cause a significant reduction of the stored electric and acoustic energy in the system. The result of this extensive optimization is an extremely fast response with highest resolution even at highest listening levels.

S.E. Components

S.E. Electrical back Modulation decoupling and way optimized highly selective internal wiring.
S.E. Multiple Isolating devices decoupling the External Crossover from the floor and room.
S.E. Terminals with built-in torque wrench and rhodium/carbon termination.
S.E. Highest performance state-of-the-art crossover components.

The System M5-F+ is equipped with the decoupling system known from the S.E. version. This includes the S.E. decoupling of the tweeter from the low-frequency enclosure as well as the multiple decoupling of the entire system from the floor.

The result is a further increase in transparency and detailed resolution.

Through the teamwork of the FE damping and the special S.E. base (multiple decoupling) the excitation of vibrating floors is reduced very strong. The floor therefore cannot act as a secondary sound source that interferes with the original signal. Transparency and detailed resolution remain even in the most difficult floor conditions, such as floating parquet, intact.

The base also allows for a floor-saving placement without spikes.

Series C

Monitor C5 MK II

C5 MK II combines the advantages of an ideal One-Point-Source with outstanding impulse performance.

The synergy of both properties leads to a holographic signal reproduction: the acoustics of different venues are reproduced to perfection.

Furthermore, the conception of the C5 MK II incorporates a switchable adjustment for various listening environments. This monitor offers a wider range of application and delivers superior acoustic results than common systems.

C5 Center

C6

As a true point source, the C6 stands out with a holographic reproduction and homogeneity reproducing acoustical spaces.

Her very living-room friendly dimensions paired with the bass power of much bigger loudspeaker systems make her a first choice for lifestyle oriented customers with high quality standards. The time behavior is perfect in a wide frequency range. This means that all frequencies arrive at the same time as the listening position.

Due to its design, the C6 can be placed in listening rooms very close to the wall. Of course, it also plays very well free-standing by flipping the positioning switch.

Even with very difficult floors that tend to be a second source of sound, the C6 can perform very well. This is due to its base being decoupled by special 'Finite Elemente' dampers from the loudspeaker enclosure and the base being decoupled again from the floor.

C7

The floorstanding monitor C7 combines the advantages of an omni-directional point-source radiator with the extended bandwidth signal integrity of Ascendo's patented SASB-Technology: impeccable homogeneity and ultra low bass capability.

The C7 provides perfect impulse response and so delivers accurate holographic imaging complemented by defined and powerful low bass performance. Its wider bandwidth, linear frequency response and inherent smoothness go far beyond other speaker systems' capabilities.

The immaculate C7 reproduces the acoustic imaging of recordings with perfect accuracy. The back firing TOS Unit allows adjustment to varying decay times of different listening rooms.

C8 Renaissance

The floorstanding monitor C8 Renaissance combines the advantages of an omni-directional point-source radiator with the extended bandwidth signal integrity of Ascendo's patented SASB-Technology: impeccable homogeneity and ultra low bass capability.

The C8 Renaissance provides perfect impulse response and so delivers accurate holographic imaging complemented by defined and powerful low bass performance. Its wider bandwidth, linear frequency response and inherent smoothness go far beyond other speaker systems' capabilities.

C8-C

The C8-C combines the advantages of the single point-source with the performance of large systems.

The result of this rare combination is excellent timing, constant timbre and sound quality at low and high volume levels combined with a spacious holographic imaging and extreme distortion-free low bass reproduction.

Unique to Ascendo's loudspeakers is the combination of the switchable ribbon tweeter placed in the back of the loudspeaker with the single point source driver in the front and the 22cm woofer inside the C8-C.

This combination keeps the impulse response perfect and adds, if desired, the Dipole-like characteristics of a large surface transducer, yet allows the choice of having perfect Studio Monitor characteristics: TOS ON - Dipole/Large Surface Transducers, TOS OFF - Hemisphere/Studio Monitor.

With the special base, and 4 FE dampers each, the C8-C is well decoupled from the floor. The combination of FE dampers and the base ensures even in difficult floor conditions, such as old floors, or floating parquet floors - high signal fidelity of the C8-C.

The base also allows for a floor-saving placement without spikes. Due to the low height and timeless clean design, the C8-C combines very well with different fixtures of a house.

Series D

The correct spatial reproduction and vocal playback of the D Series loudspeakers set standards.

The effortlessness with which even the finest musical details are reproduced is spectacular. Listeners are impressed with the homogeneous sound and the impressively fast dynamic bass reproduction which inspires listeners of all music styles.

All D Series models can be placed close to the wall. They are decoupled very efficiently from the floor, and sound already fantastic at low volume levels.

Technology and Perfection

Passive Subwoofer Sub1-S

The Sub1 was consistently developed for a high signal fidelity. This results in a very fast impulse behaviour and in its superior mass-drive ratio.

The Sub1 Base achieves excellent decoupling from the ground. The result is a clear increas in depth, spatial precision, dynamics and low frequency resolution.

The Sub1 is an excellent match for all existing systems. It comprises a passive cross-over design and can be driven in parallel to existing full-power amplifiers or in multi-amp mode.

TOS 1

The combinations of conventional speakers and individual listening environments show spectrally inhomogeneous sum-reverberation times. With TOS these sum-reverberation times are homogenized.

TOS is the driver-based optimization of sum reverberation times. The TOS devices of Ascendo are due to their parametric without loss implementable into existing devices.

The homogenization of the reverberation times improves the spatial imaging and soundstage. The long-term listening is facilitated. TOS - for the listener.
