Topline PreAmp

The preamplifier with finest musical qualities, derived from the experience of more than 25 years of service with tube technology for music playback. This tube preamp is based on a universal use concept, which leaves no wish unfulfilled. There are modules for signal switching, remote control transmitter and receiver, a delay as well as a line level and phono section. And, of course, the correct power output to a simple good version up to the ultimate dual-mono configuration, with additional capacity.

Stateline Amp 2

Extraordinary sound out of a small enclosure. 2 x 20 Watt, integrated non-oversampling DAC with USB and SPDIF inputs plus 5 high level inputs, American walnut feet. This amp is able to frighten a lot of top-dog amplifiers because its sheer intensity and power of expression.

Master Class Amp 2

A small but extremely musical integrated amplifier that is way ahead of the pack in terms of intensity and expressiveness. As for the technical side, we do not use today’s conventional digital amplifier, but a bridge circuit with a high damping factor, the precursor to discrete adapted tonally optimal sound. The power supply is a switching power supply with approval for use in medical equipment. The exclusive use of selected sub-criteria acoustic components of the best quality is another reason for the outstanding features of this amplifier. In addition, we have the quality ALPS potentiometer thrown in as a remote control. Inspired to develop this integrated amplifier, we were aided in our development of the final stage project by our Japanese friends Kii San and Watanabe San, of the magazines MJ and Premium Audio. Topline DAC

Some special features of this D/A converter are that it works, as opposed to the usual converters, without oversampling, in pure 16 bit operation. This is exactly the signal by which a CD is read. The technique of oversampling to increase resolution to high audio frequencies is sonically not without problems, and is responsible for the “digital” sound of many CD players. The practice of upsampling is to increase the clock rate, with the idea of creating more readable bits per time. Although in itself a good idea, the shortcoming of digital technology was always the limited resolution on the time axis. As a further advantage of upsampling, the reduction of jitter is achieved due to the entire digital signal being re-clocked. In practice, we had to find that it looked pretty bad at the current 192 KHz upsample in this regard, before we found that a less complex variant brought advantages here if the sampling rate was adjusted finally at 128 KHz.

Topline CD Drive

Our idea of offering a CD player resulted in taking a long time to achieve. But from the first ideas to the finished device, in retrospect, we can only say that it was worth it. The result looks like this: We have made many expensive players which we have tried and tested (Philips CDM 12). Both sonically and in terms of error correction, we were perfectly satisfied. The entire electronics, with the exception of power transformers, are located on a circuit board mounted below the drive. These two parts are in turn mounted on a sonically optimized plywood base (much better than MDF board used by other manufacturers). In addition, it also benefits the electronics by being a vibration-optimized assembly.

Master Class SP1.1

Masterclass SP1.1 is the current range speaker of Steinmusic. Holger Stein took more than five years with his team to develop it. The result is an extraordinary and successful in all details ambassador of good sound – a joy bringer.

The heart of the loudspeaker is a 20 cm driver with an unusually wide range eight complete octaves, achieved through the use of complex precision measurement technology, for example, the Klippel analyzer system. With it the membrane displacements can be measured over all frequencies and magnitudes of time, with unparalleled accuracy. This technique, however, was accompanied by countless auditions in each stage of development to guarantee more than excellent sound quality. The Masterclass Sp1.1 distinguishes itself with a unique linearity, with the advantages of a completely coherent and in-phase reproduction. The housing of the MasterClass SP1.1 rests either on three or four feet of solid walnut. They are suitable for all types of floor coverings, i.e., spikes, risso’s feet, etc. Additional damping is not required. The MasterClass SP1.1 plays as its appearance promises. With its perfectly balanced performance, it offers direct access to the beauty and expressiveness of the music. He is a pleasure bringer.

Master Class SP 2.1

Masterclass SP2.1 is based on the current broadband speaker from Steinmusic. The heart of the speaker is the 20cm driver with its unusually wide range. In the SP 2.1 it works in a semi-open back cabinet and is complimented at the frequency extremes with a larger woofer and a foil tweeter.

(High Line?) Phono Pre Pre Phono Amplifier

The Steinmusic Phono Pre Pre is a battery-powered preamplifier which sets an absolute standard in analog performance. It is designed for Moving Coil (MC) systems and is distinctive by amplifying the signal of MC phono cartridges to the level of Moving Magnet (MM) cartridges. This makes it the ideal partner for all equipment without a sufficiently sensitive phono input for MC systems.

This preamplifier has the distinctive feature of being equipped with a current input ensuring the cartridge will always be perfectly matched. There are no complicated adjustments required, and the resulting gain adjusts automatically to the cartridge in use.

The Steinmusic Phono Pre is a battery powered preamplifier which sets an absolute standard in analog performance. It is designed for Moving Cil (MC) systems and is distinctive by amplifying the signal of MC phono cartridges to the level of Moving Magnet (MM) cartridges.

Aventurin 6 – MC Cartridge

The Steinmusic Aventurin 6 cartridge is a purebred Moving Coil system designed for use with medium mass tonearms. Each cartridge is entirely hand assembled and all parameters are thoroughly tested before delivery, including a final listening test. The structure of this system is very distinctive, being cast in bronze, ensuring a remarkably stress-free base material whose resonance characteristics are further enhanced with its gold-plated finish.

The housing is made of a composite material combining natural mahogany timber with carbon fiber. This pairing of materials benefits from the amalgamated properties of the slightly warmer sound of the natural wood with the outstanding clarity of carbon fiber.

The cantilever consists of a lightweight, rigid boron tube with the needle geometry optimized for low distortion and the cleanest tracking. The precision-wound generator operates in a perfectly homogeneous magnetic field from a high efficiency neodymium magnet.

Harmonizer System

The award winning Harmonizer System is now available in a further improved version. The internal Harmonizer Modules were redesigned for an even smoother tone and a better distribution of their effect. Harmonizers are available now in black and also in white color. There is a separate compartment for the battery case which is easy to open with one screw only. The batteries are in here pretty tight, so that you may ship the Harmonizers without batteries getting loose. Harmonizers do not have an external power supply anymore, they use 4 AA batteries which are easily available all over the world. Modern Alkaline AA batteries last more than two years with the Harmonizers on all time (while the LED is off), Lithium batteries even 8 years. This makes it much easier to place them in the room rather than using an external power supply.

Harmonizers now also have an integrated thread in the bottom plate, where you may directly mount stands or wall brackets. Stands have been completely redesigned, using a 12mm round polished metal bar and a black lacquered 20mm MDF base with rubber feet that are fine for all kind of floors.

Harmonizers come in sets of two, which include:

Two sets is the most commonly used variant, however you may also start with one set or further improve the system using three sets. For best results we recommend using the Harmonizers together with Steinmusic Blue Suns.

Harmonizer
The Harmonizer H2a and H2b are two identical-looking cubes with similar technology. However they are completely different regarding of the internal structure, and so also have significantly different effects that in the sum complement each other. We recommend using harmonizer in pairs, one H2a together with one H2b.

Black Stones
Black Stones assist the Harmonizers in evenly distributing their effect within the listening space. The Black Stones‘ operation is essentially based on the same, if less potent, principle as that of the Harmonizers. The Black Stones consist of a carbon-filled epoxy resin form within which the three active elements are contained in a precisely balanced ratio. Although their effect is noticeable when used independently, they are designed to be most effective in combination with the Harmonizer system.

Black Diamonds
Black Diamonds differ from the Stones primarily with respect to activation. Here we use techniques based on quantum physics that operate at a higher intensity than do the Stones. Their application within the Harmonizer system is best applied in conjunction with Stones. Four to five pieces in the right places will work quite effectively. Skilled placement impacts image size in all three dimensions. Like the Stones, the Diamonds are made of a carbon-filled epoxy resin and six active elements in an exactly balanced ratio.

Blue Diamonds
Steinmusic Blue Diamonds are a further development of the Black Diamonds. Here we have increased effectiveness by a factor of three. Blue Diamonds can be used in place of Black Diamonds for a more realistic effect. Again, the Blue Diamonds are made of carbon-filled epoxy resin with nine active elements in an exactly balanced ratio. Used independently, they are capable of achieving an excellent result.

Blue Suns
While developing the Blue Suns our initial intention was to build something for the use in concert halls. The result in the end was a smooth sounding top class device, which you directly hear and do not want to miss any more. The soundstage gets 3- dimensional, not only at the listening place but all over the room. Musicians become a presence unknown before and appear in your room stunningly real.

We recommend the use of the stands that are specially made for the Harmonizer system. With these you have the perfect height, and may also easily find the optimal place in your room.

Super Naturals and Super Naturals +

Audio component feet. These feet are made out of American walnut, acoustically optimized with ceramic elements and vacuum impregnated felt pads. It needs more than 80 steps to build them. They combine fast resonance transfer with a rich and colorful sound. Diameter 30MM, Height 2MM. Set of 3.

The Super Naturals + audio component feet are 30mm high, and are available with thread M5, M6, M8 or 3/8”-16, or without thread. Diameter 30mm, Height 30mm. Set of 3.

CD Plus

CD Plus is a treatment for the readable surface of optical discs. It securely removes residues from the production and applies an anti-reflection coating that helps the laser to read the disk information error-free.

Contact Clear System

A system to clean and stabilize contact points. It consequently isolates areas which are not contributing to a perfect contact and that way leads to a considerably cleaner and more natural sound. Packaged with cleaning fluid, contact fluid and a set of cleaning brushes.

Maestro Lacquer

A unique lacquer made out of entirely natural resins to improve resonance pattern of everything treated with it. Good on speaker diaphragms, just as on PCBs, or on CDs.

E-Pads

E-Pads are available in +S, 11, 22, 33. +S are the next generation of self-adhesive elements of 8x15mmm working on the level of interaction between molecules. 11, 22 and 33 have a different sonic signature than E-Pads +S, and may be used similarly. They are a perfect complement to the E-Pads +S, and may also be used together with these. 11, 22 and 33 +2S are a combination of two E-Pads +S with one 11, 22 or 33 on top of them. These three layer E-Pads are really strong, and get more brilliant to the higher numbers.

Speaker Match

The perfect match between amplifier, speaker cable and loudspeaker through minimizing the effect of back wave EMF distortion. The Steinmusic Speaker Match is an element that helps bring more articulate interplay from amplifier to loudspeaker. Resulting in a more open articulate sound image across all frequencies, which tends to be mellower and less strained.

Speaker Match Plus

Speaker Match Plus is an even more perfect match between amplifier, speaker cable and loudspeaker. The Speaker Match Plus is the next level, bringing a clear transition and improved noise reduction to the amplifier-speaker cable-loudspeaker system. The results are an even more articulate sound image, building on the original design, with improved resonance control, in affine sonically neutral solid walnut housing.

Speaker Match Signature

Using similar techniques as the Speaker Match Plus, however, with the best materials available like tightly matched custom paper in oil capacitors, and finest African Blackwood enclosures. This wood is normally used in the highest quality woodwind instruments. Specially engraved slots tightly control resonance. All this produces an effect on the sound that is even more precise. The final result is a very neutral and “life-like” impression of the music.
